Most authors write what they know. I write what I want to know. If there's a topic I want to understand, I've found no better way to learn it than to research and write a novel about it, a process that forces me to go deep.
This is why my books and business projects cover such a wide range of topics, from business acquisition to Biblical Fiction. I follow my curiosity from topic to topic.
